SMART VALOR enters cooperation to provide automated tax reports
The tax treatment of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has become increasingly important in recent years. While for traditional investments such as shares and funds banks often deduct taxes directly and offset against profits, the situation is more complicated for cryptocurrency investors.
Cryptocurrency investors usually have to take care of the taxation of their trading profits themselves. But the correct calculation of profits and losses can become very complex, especially when there are many different crypto assets to consider, and numerous transactions have been made over the year.
SMART VALOR has entered a strategic cooperation with Austria-based company Blockpit to provide its customers with a simple solution for preparing tax declarations for their cryptocurrency investments.
Blockpit's core business is provision of crypto tax solutions for individuals and corporations. Its tax reports are based on country-specific tax frameworks developed by a Big Four accounting firm to ensure maximum legal compliance in each jurisdiction.
Through the partnership between SMART VALOR and Blockpit, users of the SMART VALOR platform will be able to get a prepared tax report with just a few clicks. Blockpit provides pre-filled tax forms for the countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain. For all other regions, customers can create generic tax reports.
