Imsys has now been operating as a listed company for two months. Looking at the share price, we do not seem to be particularly successful in communicating our Company's values and potential. There is potential for improvement here. For Imsys the positive difference is ease in attracting new relations with potential partners and potential employees. Existing partners and potential ones contact us directly at a greater extent than before. Imsys has stopped flying under the radar. We have increased our visibility in the commercial and financial markets. The website is now visited by players in the industry who are to be found all over the world.

As CEO, I work to build up the markets' knowledge of our design, technology and solutions. I see that we strengthen confidence in the Company's ability to meet our goals. Our Roadmap has been well received. I will continuously communicate updates of it. We are on our way. Almost every day we receive proof that our offer is attractive. However, it is quite obvious that all decision-making processes will be longer in times of COVID. It is frustrating.

Imsys' development team today consists of about ten specialists. It's not enough. That is why we are currently strengthening the team with two specialists for the design of our circuits - the hardware.

In performance, Imsys can compete with the world's most powerful AI processors. When we do competitor analyzes internally, this is clear. Our design has an in-house developed architecture based on trade secrets, granted patents and patent applications. The latest major patent application was filed shortly before last year end. Our portfolio of knowledge is the most important asset in the Company. It is the one we can license to customers. Here is the source of revenue.

Exciting events occurs in the market place. At the centre of attention is ARM Ltd, a "design house" that licenses IP rights for manufacturing of microprocessors. Since the 1980s, ARM has dominated the market and provided several of the world's leading vendors with IP for manufacture of microprocessors. In the autumn, NVIDIA announced its intentions to acquire ARM. A deal worth $ 40 billion. The deal will have a major impact on the industry. Through the deal, NVIDIA takes control of a giant library of IP rights (patents, technology and design) currently utilized by NVIDIA's direct competitors through strategic licensing agreements.

Instantly - all IP rights and design solutions outside control of ARM/NVIDIA increased in value. Several large semiconductor companies have legitimate concerns on the consequences of this deal. It is obvious that both profitability and competitiveness would deteriorate if licensing costs will be increased or simply terminated. The market assumes that NVIDIA leadership intends to strengthen the company's market position, especially with regard to strategies for future licensing of enhanced technologies.

Artificial Intelligence is considered a gigantic growth opportunity for the microprocessor industry. Regardless of how NVIDIA exercises its ownership of ARM, the deal increases the pressure for change. The trend we have previously pointed out, where large players buy small ones will accelerate. Many companies want to reduce their dependencies on ARM and will also review their strategies. This creates business opportunities for independent players such as Imsys. 2021 is the year when Imsys will prove its concept. For Imsys, this opens up opportunities for new partnerships.

Imsys AB leads seminar series in AI development.

ICES today, in its Newsletter for 2021 presents a seminar series aimed at its member companies called "Empowering AI at the EDGE". The seminar series will be conducted in the spring of 2021 in collaboration with Imsys AB. Participants are senior leaders in CTO position, from sixteen of ICES member companies.

At the workshop on June 2, Imsys will present its AI accelerator ALICE and participants will during this workshop be given opportunities to evaluate four AI applications together with IMSYS.


Imsys AB leder seminarieserie inom AI utveckling

ICES presenterar idag en seminarieserie riktad till sina medlemsföretag kallad "Empowering AI at the EDGE". Seminarieserien genomförs under våren 2021 i samarbete med Imsys AB. Deltagare är personer i ledande ställning, CTO, från 16 av ICES medlemsföretag.

Vid en workshop den 2 juni presenteras Imsys AI accelerator ALICE och deltagarna ges därefter möjligheter att tillsammans med IMSYS utvärdera fyra AI applikationer.

Imsys AB and My-Konsult System AB have today signed a letter of intent to evaluate the conditions for cooperation. My-Konsult System AB is active in advanced military systems and supplies integrated systems in radar technology. The preliminary intention for the parties is to evaluate each other's know-how and technology portfolios with the aim of cooperation.
