Cell Impact appoints China Country Manager

Cell Impact (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: CI B) has appointed Mr. Forrest Zhang as Country Manager in China. Mr. Zhang will be based in Shanghai and will begin his new position on May 3, 2021.

China is rapidly emerging as one of the key hydrogen fuel cell markets in the world. Eighteen months ago, Cell Impact hired its first full-time employee in China, Mrs. Tingting Guan, with responsibility for identifying and developing attractive project opportunities. By appointing Mr. Zhang as a locally-based Country Manager, Cell Impact is now increasing its reach and impact in this important market.

Mr. Zhang is currently General Manager at ASSA ABLOY Crawford in Kunshan, China. He has previously held both operational and technical positions at Getinge China and Beckman Coulter China.

“I’ve worked with Forrest earlier and know him to be an excellent executive with a strong strategic mindset. I’m delighted that he will now join the Cell Impact team and take on the challenge to build a solid position for Cell Impact in China, one of the world’s fastest and most promising fuel cell markets,” says Pär Teike, CEO of Cell Impact.
