Dear Adventure Box owner and / or Adventure Box follower,

what an unusual year we had. Corona has made 2020 a difficult year for our society, and for many of us as individuals, but for Adventure Box, as a company, 2020 has been a fantastic year.

The fourth quarter began with an important new share issue of SEK 60 million. Since then, we have strengthened our organization with several senior employees: a Creative Director, a Community Manager, two Java programmers and two JavaScript programmers. We are now evaluating several candidates for the remaining roles we want to fill during the first quarter of 2021, a CFO, a 3D programmer and a user interface designer (see https://careers.adventurebox.com/)

With these 9 recruitments, we grow the organization from 13 to 22 full-time roles. 16 in Sweden, two in France, two in Spain, one in Malta and one in Denmark. We are also supported by several part-time consultants around the world.

The fact that our organization is so distributed means that we from the beginning have built our systems and methods for working online. During the Corona era, we have saved on travel time and become even more efficient. That said, we look forward to meeting, post-Corona, at our new offices in the Wenner-Gren Center. The fact that these premises are located on the outskirts of the city center makes the rent a little lower. The fact that the house bears the name of the great entrepreneur Axel Wenner-Gren makes the symbolic value a little higher. Like Axel Wenner-Gren, we have global ambitions.

During the quarter, our share price has fallen somewhat. It is always difficult to understand short-term variations in stock prices. As for ours, it may be because it is more difficult to explain our, since the end of October, updated strategy. After, for about 1.5 years, learning a lot about how we, extremely price-effectively, attract users with different behaviors to Adventure Box, we now focus on a specific type of key user. We work as closely to these users as we can, to together with them develop our platform so that it works as well as possible. Over time, we will add more and more key users and the game content they create, and share will then lead to our organic growth passing the viral tipping point where it becomes exponential. This in turn will lead to significant shareholder value.

Under kvartalet genomfördes först en nyemission om 60 MSEK varpå Bolaget justerade sina planer efter de förbättrade förutsättningarna och tillsatte 8 nya strategiska befattningar.

FLER BESÖKARE TROTS SÄNKT MARKNADSFÖRINGSKOSTNAD

Under januari ökade antalet besökare från 231 062 till 317 804, kundanskaffningskostnaderna sänktes från 0,28kr till 0,09kr och andelen återvändande användare från 25% till 24%.

In January the number of platform visitors increased from 231,062 to 317,804, customer acquisition costs were lowered from SEK 0.28 to SEK 0.09, and the share of returning users decreased from 25% to 24%.


NY CFO TILL ADVENTURE BOX

Adventure Box rekryterar som ny Chief Finance Officer Sofia Nilsson. Sofia kommer närmast från en position som VP GROW and Head of Accounting hos Nordic Insource Solutions AB. Hon tillträder sin tjänst den 20 april 2021 och efterträder nuvarande CFO Hans Richter.


ADVENTURE BOX WELCOMES NEW CFO

Adventure Box welcomes Sofia Nilsson as new Chief Financial Officer. Sofia leaves her current position as VP GROW and Head of Accounting at Nordic Insource Solutions AB and will begin her new role on April 20,th 2021, replacing the current CFO Hans Richter.

Användarstudier och därpå genomförda produktförbättringar har resulterat i bättre användarbeteende, ökad tid spenderad på webbplatsen och fler återvändande användare.

Adventure Box sedan tidigare kommunicerade marknadsföringsstrategi, att fokusera på de användare som skapar och delar innehåll resulterar, som väntat, i initialt färre användare. 1-6 dec sjunker antalet webbsidesbesökare med 67% jämfört med 1-6 november.


FOCUS RESULTS IN FEWER USERS

Adventure Box's previously communicated marketing strategy, focusing on users who create and share content results, as expected, in initially less users. December 1-6, the number of website visitors decreases by 67% compared to November 1-6.


ANDELEN REGISTRERADE ANVÄNDARE ÖKAR TROTS MINSKAD ANNONSERING

Adventure Box har påbörjat en ny strategi fokuserad på att attrahera spelskapare som registrerar sig och skapar spel och har som en del i denna strategi avslutat marknadsföring mot andra kundsegment. Strategin har fallit väl ut och antalet nyregistrerade konton har ökat med 26% jämfört med oktober trots en total minskning av antalet webbsidesbesökare med 42%.
