ÅAC Microtec wins order for subsystems for 10 satellites from Aistech
ÅAC Microtec AB ÅAC has received an order from Aistech Space in Spain to supply spacecraft subsystems to ten of Aistech's next generation of satellites. The total order is worth approximately 5.6 MSEK, deliveries starts in Q3 2018.
This new order extends the market capture of ÅAC's range of sub-systems and demonstrates the strengths and market attractiveness of the company's latest generation of products. Aistech will be using the sub-systems in a new design of 2u sized cube-sats (1U = 10x10x10 cm) that are aiming to track aircraft movement through an advanced ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) payload. ADS-B is an aircraft surveillance technology used by the aviation industry to enable situational awareness and management of air traffic.
